I want to say that today is going to be the transitional day for some drier weather – but my gut is telling me not to. Each day it seems the models are backing off on how much actual drying will occur and because of that I can’t even say that the weekend will be water park weekend like I said at the beginning of the week. The best thing to do – is do what we say to do all summer long – get to the parks early and be ready for some afternoon rain.
Thanks to some added cloud cover we may not hit 90 today official but have no fear it will feel far warming than that anyway. Temperatures will get back into the low 90s tomorrow through the weekend so don’t expect those cooler temperatures anytime soon. As an aside I’m just starting to notice some drier/cooler air working it’s way into the northern states which should make it’s way here by mid October ;-)!
So expect afternoon showers once again today though maybe NOT quite as widespread as they have been – and while tomorrow chances are slightly less I wouldn’t feel comfortable ruling out rain tomorrow through the weekend (as in spotty showers).
Keep A CLOSE eye on the tropics the next couple of days. Honestly there is a disturbance that looks likely to form in the Gulf the only problem is that without much to steer it – it can head anywhere between texas and tampa – so keep following me on Twitter @WDW_Weather and I’ll have updates all weekend long.
