I hope SOMEONE was listening when I advised to get all your Hopping out of the way early this week because that wet pattern I was telling you about is setting itself up to last right through the weekend.
We’ve got a 50 percent chance of showers through Sunday and while usually you can expect them after 2pm – with on shore flow working it’s magic – we may see some rain falling a little earlier than what you normally expect.
The other thing for the weekend is that steering patterns won’t be too strong so any showers that do move in could linger around for a while making for a miserable couple of hours in the parks. There’s always two ways to look at this thing – bring the poncho and get ready for wait times to drop (that’s my play).
High temperatures will top out in the low 90s through early next week – though actual temperatures will vary based on cloud cover.
I wouldn’t worry about the tropical system in the Atlantic – most models continue to shift this very sheared storm out to sea.
