So I’ve been getting emails about Rina and who would have thought we’d still be talking about a tropical event as we head ALMOST into November, but here we are. The latest National Hurricane trends show Rina actually becoming a minimal hurricane before the end of the week so while most models keep the storm away from Florida, it’s always something to keep an eye on. And to think I was just getting ready to talk about Florida’s dry season!
Anyway, it’s going to feel like the dry season is getting off to an early start as dewpoints are relatively low and the high temperature isn’t expected to get much above 80 today. Sunny skies will be the rule today and tomorrow. Temperatures will creep up during the week and so will the moisture leading to thunderstorms becoming a possibility once we get past Wednesday.
There’s a higher degree than normal of uncertainty based on what happens with Rina – so stay tuned. Enjoy the gorgeous weather today and tomorrow though.
