The heat continues to rise in the sunshine state today! Highs will top out more than a couple of degrees above where they should be this time of the year hitting somewhere around 86 to 88. Like I’ve been saying the past few days – with heat comes the chance of thunderstorms and while the atmosphere isn’t completely ready to unleash a drenching rain on Walt Disney World just yet – the chance for a shower this afternoon isn’t out of the question (and that chance increases tomorrow).
So we top out in the upper 80s and when the sun goes down we will bottom out in the mid 60s. That said by the time we get through the 70s you should be sleeping and I don’t care how late extra magic hours are.
The front I eluded to yesterday – well I’m glad I just eluded to it because models have it slowing down now. That said front is a cold (read cool) front and I’m not thinking it is going to affect things in much of anyway other than shift winds and lower dewpoints.
So the moral of the story – get used to above average temperatures because they will be here for a while – drink plenty of water – and use sunscreen (which you should have been using in the winter too FYI).
