Well a very early start to the tropical season (the Atlantic Hurricane season doesn’t officially start until the first of June) led to some weather excitement this past weekend. Luckily the largest effects on land look to be rip currents felt as far south as Jacksonville – so if a beach day on the Atlantic Coast is in your future please watch yourself and always use the buddy system.
Closer to the the mouse house things are looking rather nice today. All the unsettled weather from last week and into the weekend seems to have given way to a warm dare I say hot May day with highs reaching into the upper 80s. As it stands right now today looks to be the driest day and thunderstorm chances increase as we head through the week.
Temperatures actually build as we head through the week and we should be in the 90s for much of it.
