A weak frontal boundary is going to continue the chance for showers this afternoon. The good news is that with each day that passes it looks like shower activity will wane a bit. So let’s call for a 50-50 shot of showers and thunderstorms today going back down to roughly 20 percent by the time we get to the weekend. See the glass is half full now.
Highs will be generally around 90 degrees through the weekend into early next week.
The GFS forecast model is still showing the possibility of tropical development in the next several days so it is something to keep our eyes on going into next week.
