A company that began in a small suburban garage on July 16, 1977 is celebrating its 35th year. Garner Holt was only in high school when he began making his creations on a card table in his parent’s garage. Garner Holt Productions has gone from haunted houses to nearly 500 Chuck E. Cheese restaurants to the creation of new attractions and parade units for the Disney theme parks.
Operating out of a 60,000 square foot design and production facility, Garner Holt Productions most recently completed on the new Disney California Adventure. “We do so many different things,” said Holt, “GHP is such a whirlwind.” He added, “What we do here now would have been unimaginable when I started out.”
