Wow the heat is on in Southern California this week. We will flirt with 90 today and it looks like we will make it there and then some through the mid part of the week through the end of the month. As high pressure builds in – temperatures will go up. The marine layer should be rather shallow leading to more sunshine earlier in the day – but temperatures towards the coast will be slightly cooler. High pressure will try to break down as we head towards the end of the week which will cool temperatures into the weekend a bit.
