The week isn’t looking too bad especially when taking Monday out of the mix 1) because it is Monday and 2) because it looks like this afternoon is the greatest chance for thunderstorms. Chances for rain diminish to 20-30 percent through the later part of the week with highs in the low 90s through Friday. Dare I say a cool down is coming :-)? Well it is a bit premature for that but temperatures will be “normal” this week as opposed to “greater than normal”.
The tropics seem to be losing a bit of steam which is good news for The Sunshine State as Ernesto stayed weak enough to keep the track further south and Florence is clinging to life and as of now doesn’t look like a threat. As we approach the peak of Hurricane Season we still need to keep our eyes on the very warm waters of the Atlantic.
