When it comes to Isaac – each model run pushes the center of the storm further west which is good news for Disney. That said the storm is massive I mean just unorganized and massive – at one point the storm was 1,000 miles wide and likely still is (whenever you read this). The mountainous terrain Isaac is going over right now will continue to inhibit strengthening but the storm will have a chance to regenerate over the weekend on its approach to what looks like the panhandle of Florida/Alabama (though like I said models keep shifting). This is clearly not an Andrew situation but flooding may definitely become an issue especially in low lying areas. Updates all weekend on Twitter as needed.
As for the weather – baring any change of course for Isaac – expect highs in the low 90s with a 50-50 chance for afternoon thunderstorms (yes literally 50 percent – that’s not just weatherman speak for no confidence :-).) Have a good weekend.
