A few weeks ago Disney CEO Bob Iger said Avengers director Joss Whedon would be creating a Marvel-related TV series for ABC. Today The Hollywood Reporter is reporting ABC has given a pilot order for S.H.I.E.L.D., based on the Jack Kirby created comic and presumably set in the Avengers universe, with Whedon co-writing.
