Universal Orlando Resort’s Veteran Network – comprised of more than 400 team members who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces – will march in a special parade in Universal Studios Florida on Friday, November 9, to commemorate Veterans Day.
Members of several local organizations will join Universal Orlando’s veterans to mark the occasion, including representation from all branches of the military, the American Legion, Orlando Police Department, Orlando Fire Department’s Pipe & Drum Corps, area high schools’ JROTC Multi-Branch Color Guard and Jones High School marching band. Several of Universal Orlando’s characters and performers will also accompany them as they process through Universal Studios.
The parade will begin November 9th at 11 a.m. in front of Beetlejuice’sGraveyard Revue. During the parade, a ceremonial flag-raising will take place in the Music Plaza. After the event, Universal Orlando’s veterans will enjoy a private lunch.
