SlashFilm.com reports Carrie Fisher said she was only joking when she confirmed recently she was going to be in Star Wars: Episode VII. However, in an extensive Bloomberg article (as reported by SlashFilm), George Lucas said Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher were also nearly signed on prior to the acquisition with Disney but an announcement was not yet ready to be made.
