Variety writes Jennifer Garner (“Alias”) is in talks with Disney to star opposite Steve Carell (“The Office”) in the upcoming film “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”. Carell is playing the father and Garner is in talks to play the mother. Garner recently played a Disney mom in the 2012 film “The Odd Life of Timothy Green”. “Alexander” is based on a 1972 Judith Viorst book, “Bad Day”, about a boy who has a horrible day and finds out others can have them, too.
