According to the Orlando Sentinel, Disney’s California Grill will reopen on Monday, September 9, 2013. The restaurant atop Disney’s Contemporary Resort hotel was closed for a seven-month makeover. Guests will now enjoy a new kitchen, updated decor, and a menu overhaul, featuring fresh seasonal creations. One new menu offering will be an omakase service with 12 to 14 courses of high quality seafood, all offered without a menu… strictly chef’s choice. Guests can also look for a few fan favorites from the old menu as well… but expect updated presentations and recipes. Be sure to stop and admire the new decor. You don’t want to miss seeing the graphic print carpet. It was inspired by the legendary Mary Blair.
