RunDisney’s final race of the year wrapped up with more than 14,000 competitors taking part in the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon on Saturday night. The 13.1-mile race began at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports, made its way through Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and then concluded at Epcot. Afterward, racers took part in a party as part of the final weekend of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
The overall winner was Justin Scheid, 27, of Sparta, N.J. setting a record for the four-year-old event, finishing with a time of 1:11:47. That’s 82 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Valdir Camargo, 34, of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
