Today, Disney Publishing launches Disney Story Central, a brand new digital library designed especially for kids and families featuring a wide array of beloved Disney stories and characters. The free cross-platform experience is available via the iPad app and tablet-optimized website.

- Customizable bookshelves for each member of the family with personalized reading recommendations
- Children can earn virtual stars and trophies as they read and can track their reading progress
- Parents can purchase and distribute Disney Book Tokens so each child can unlock the stories they want to read
- Books, reading progress, and rewards for every reader are synced across all devices via your Disney Account
- A “Browse By Character” carousel lets families easily find books staring their favorite character
- Personalized book recommendations based on each reader’s profile and reading history makes it easy for families to find the books they want to read
The app is free to download and additional books can be accessed via the app or website through a token system under parental management. Parents can purchase tokens in the app and distribute tokens to kids. In-app purchases at launch are:
