Goldstar is selling tickets to the Boston edition of their Fanniversary show on Goldstar. Tickets are available for $25 which is less than the $40 general admission price (but more than the Silver and Gold D23 Member price). The event will be held at 2 and 5pm on October 4. For more information on Fanniversary read our recap.
There’s more to the “House of the Mouse” than just Mickey. At the D23 Fanniversary Celebration, Disney archivists and members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will revisit films like The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, play an unreleased track from Sleeping Beauty and even give behind-the-scenes information on theme park attractions. The event will also celebrate Donald Duck’s 80th birthday and honor the anniversary of Disney’s participation in the 1964 New York World’s Fair. After each show, you’ll get to catch a glimpse of the black straw hat Julie Andrews wore in Mary Poppins and see a rare award statuette known as a “Duckster,” one of which was proudly displayed in Walt Disney’s office.
