In celebration of the new Disney XD animated series “Star Wars Rebels,” UK dubstep producer/DJ Flux Pavilion (aka Josh Steele) has remixed the show’s evocative theme song. The “Rebels Theme” (Flux Pavilion’s The Ghost Remix) is available today at digital retail outlets. Continuing the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga, “Star Wars Rebels” debuts on Disney XD beginning Monday, October 13 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT).
Well known for his high-energy performances and smashing anthems, Flux Pavilion is one of the greats in electronic dance music. In addition to being a producer, remixer and DJ, Flux is also a co-founder of Circus Records and can currently be seen touring North America with the Safe In Sound Festival.
The “Rebels Theme” remix is a marriage of perfection, the epic scope and sweep of the saga’s theme song composed by Kevin Kiner with Flux Pavilion’s devastating basslines, epic beats, and playful nature. Including classic Star Wars sound effects such as lasers, lightsabers and even the roar of a Wookiee, the tune entices the listener to rage all night, in a galaxy far far away…
