In the first regular episode of Star Wars Rebels, “Droids in Distress,” Captain Rex and Star Tours appears. Rex is voiced by original voice actor Paul Rubens (Pee-Wee Herman). The episode was written by Greg Weisman who has a long association with Disney, having been one of the creators of Gargoyles.
“Droids in Distress” will air on October 13 on Disney XD.
