Marvel.com is confirming that Benedict Cumberbatch will star in Marvel’s “Doctor Strange,” scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016.
In a write up on the website:
“Stephen Strange’s story requires an actor capable of great depth and sincerity,” said Producer Kevin Feige. “In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character.”
Cumberbatch is best known for his role in BBC’s Sherlock and as Kahn in Star Trek Into Darkness. Previously, he starred in the Disney distributed Dreamworks film, The Fifth Estate.
