Richard Dreyfuss and Christine Wagner against Walt Disney Pictures over the 1991 film What About Bob? and 1989 motion picture Turner and Hooch.
According to a complaint filed on Thursday in LA Superior Court, Disney has refused a demand by Dreyfuss and Wagner to hire their chosen auditor —Robinson Inc.
Disney wants one of the “big four” accounting firms while the plantiffs in the case claim that they do not have the expertise to handle the examination of film profits. Robinson Inc is founded by James Robinson who was the director of Worldwide Television Finance for NBCUniversal.
Disney has not commented on the suit.
