Today, Facebook announced their new 360 Video which allow viewers to immerse themselves in online video and control the angles while watching. One of the first properties to get to try out this new format is Star Wars.
Right now, Facebook users can take a ride through Jakku, controlling the view along the way. The 56-second clip gives fans a closer look at the new planet that will be introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens this December.
Star Wars is just one of the content providers releasing videos in the new format today. Other include GoPro, Saturday Night Live, and Vice.
