The city of Anaheim is alerting its residents of temporary road closures this weekend, Jan. 15-17, for the annual Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend hosted by runDisney. Thousands of guests will converge upon Anaheim from nearby cities, other states and countries, and even from a galaxy far, far away.
Please note the following temporary road closure schedule. Commuters are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Monday, Jan. 11-Monday, Jan. 18
- Disneyland Drive (midnight-6 a.m.) closed nightly between Magic Way to Paradise Way.
Friday, Jan. 15
- Disneyland Drive (midnight-7 a.m.) closed between Katella Avenue and Ball Road.
- Magic Way (3-8 a.m.) closed between Paradise Pier Hotel and Walnut Street
- Ball Road (5-6:30 a.m.) closed eastbound between Cast Place and Disneyland Drive. Westbound lanes open.
Saturday, Jan. 16
- Disneyland Drive (midnight-7:30 a.m.) closed between Katella Avenue and Magic Way.
- Disneyland Drive (3-7:30 a.m.) closed between Ball Road and Magic Way.
- Magic Way (3-10 a.m.) between Disneyland Drive and Walnut Street.
- Ball Road (5-6:30 a.m.) closed eastbound between Cast Place and Disneyland Drive Westbound lanes open.
