A family from Alabama, represented by Matt Morgan, claimed that a grandmother had a heart attack after an escaped snake bit her grandson at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They plan to sue Walt Disney World.
Morgan says that the grandmother saw the snake bite the boy, went into cardiac arrest and died a short time later.
Disney states that the allegations mischaracterize what happened. They state that the nonvenomous snake was wild, not part of a Disney’s Animal Kingdom exhibit, and that there was no call for an ambulance for the grandmother after the incident.
Disney also says after the boy was treated with a Band-Aid for the snake bite and that the family returned to the park.
