April is Earth Month and to celebrate, Disney Interactive is collaborating with Apple and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) on the Apps for Earth global campaign to raise awareness and direct funds to a very important cause. Apps for Earth brings together some of the world’s biggest app developers to offer players exclusive content created specifically to support WWF’s work to conserve forests, oceans, fresh water, wildlife, food, and climate.
As part of the Apps for Earth promotion, Disney Infinity is offering an exclusive Disney Infinity: Toy Box 3.0 WWF Pack for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, consisting of Nick, Judy and Baloo figures, a Tantor the Elephant Power Disc and two Lion King-themed Power Discs. The bundle will be available for $4.99 beginning today until April 24. In addition, the team has developed exclusive Toy Boxes for the bundle, themed to different environments from around the world.
All proceeds from the purchase of the bundle and in-app purchases will benefit the WWF, whose mission is to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth.
