As Marvel prepares to launch Phase 3 of its Cinematic Universe with Captain America: Civil War, its plans are changing once again. According to The Wrap, Inhumans, which was initially meant to be the MCU’s 20th film, has now been removed from Disney’s release schedule.
Thanks to some release date reshuffling at Marvel, including leaving a slot for Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Inhumans has already seen delays. Prior to today’s news, the film was set to be released on July 12, 2019. Assuming the movie does still come to fruition down the line, it now seems likely that it would be considered part of Phase 4 (or later).
