ESPN has reached an agreement with Conference USA for the rights to televise five football games and the Conference USA Football Championship Game in 2016 and 2017. The five regular season games for 2016 include three Conference USA schools hosting non-conference games in the early portion of the season and two conference games in the last week of the regular season. The C-USA Football Championship Game is set for Saturday, Dec. 3.
This season’s slate begins with Indiana at Florida International University on Thursday, Sept. 1, (7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU). The conference will feature a pair of games on Friday, Sept. 16, when Rice hosts No. 7 Baylor (8 p.m. on ESPN) and UTSA is at home vs. Arizona State (9:30 p.m. on ESPN2). ESPN’s Conference USA regular season will conclude with Louisiana Tech at Southern Miss on Friday, Nov. 25, and Western Kentucky University at Marshall on Saturday, Nov. 26. The final two regular season games and the championship game kick off times and networks will be announced at a later date.
