Jack Dorsey has been plenty busy the last several months being CEO for both Twitter and Square as well as sitting on the board for The Walt Disney Company. However, he did find time to speak to CNBC today and happened to bring up Disney’s CEO Bob Iger and specifically what he’s learned in the time he’s spent with him.
Dorsey says that Iger has been successful at Disney by cultivating a culture of optimism in addition to the emphasis the company places on storytelling. “In every board meeting we have, you feel it. You feel the creativity. You feel the desire to continue to advance technology, and use technology to tell better stories. And you feel the optimism,” he said. He also said, “That was something that was really refreshing to hear, and it’s worked.”
