A video posted by DAPs Magic on YouTube shows a new droid roaming around the Star Wars Launch Bay inside of Disneyland park. Apparently named “Jake” the robot can be seen making his way around the area and even interacting with set pieces that light up and make noises:
Conventional wisdom suggests this could be the first of many tests to add these types of droids to the upcoming Star Wars Lands at both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If true that could bring in a whole new element to what is already gearing up to be an impressive project.
