For years now Disney guest have enjoyed the simultaneously high-end and fun products that have come as the result of the company’s partnership with Dooney & Burke. Now the Disney Parks Blog has announced that a special release party will be held to celebrate the new summer line that will be coming to Disney Parks and Disney Store online.
The event will be held Saturday, July 23 at Cherry Tree Lane inside the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs. There guests will be able to meet Ian Ray, Creative Director for Dooney & Bourke who will be appearing at the store from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Disney and Dooney & Burke will be releasing two new collections including handbags inspired by the iconic “it’s a small world” attraction.
The other set being released is called “Lovebirds” and features the classic couple — Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Finally, a new line of Dooney & Burke-inspired MagicBands will be available for the first time. Each band will be limited to only 1,500 and will feature a specially designed slider with the Dooney & Bourke logo. They will come packaged in decorative boxes.
