Today Disney announced a new YouTube series that will take fans around the world to see how different cities and cultures embrace Disney as a part of their fashion. Destination: Disney Style is a five-part series starring YouTubers LaurDIY, Jaleesa Moses, Meredith Foster and Lucy & Lydia.
Episode one of Destination: Disney Fashion finds LaurDIY in Tokyo to see how the Japanese incorporate Disney characters into their style. From the streets of the famed Harajuku district to the Disney Expo Japan to, of course, Tokyo Disneyland, Lauren looks at high-fashion, Disney bounding, and “charadinate”:
“Filming this series was an absolute blast. It was my first time in Tokyo and it was so cool to experience all the Disney style around the city – especially around Harajuku,” said Lauren Riihimaki (LaurDIY).
Future episodes of the series will take viewers to Shanghai, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles including a look at Disney’s collaboration with Coach. New installments will be released each Tuesday, with the season concluding on August 30th. So be sure to catch this fun new series on Disney Style’s YouTube channel.
