Today, Support Our Anaheim Resort (S.O.A.R.) PAC, which represents the interests of the Anaheim Resort including the Disneyland Resort, endorsed the re-election of Anaheim Mayor Pro Tem Lucille Kring.
“Nobody works harder than Lucille Kring to represent the community of Anaheim. She is a proven leader on the Anaheim City Council, who has consistently stood with us on policies and initiatives creating job growth and economic development in the Anaheim Resort. For these reasons, S.O.A.R. PAC is proud to be an early supporter of Lucille Kring’s re-election to the Anaheim City Council,” said Jill Kanzler, Executive Director of SOAR.
Mayor Pro Tem Lucille Kring will be seeking re-election in the newly formed Council District 4, which includes the Anaheim Resort District. While on the Council, Mayor Pro Tem Kring has led efforts to both restore and enhance police and fire services and invest in new and improved parks. In addition, Lucille championed the expansion of the Anaheim Convention Center as well as economic incentive policies leading to substantial development and jobs in the Anaheim Resort District.
Lucille was re-elected to the Anaheim City Council in 2012. She previously served as an Anaheim City Councilmember from 1998-2002 and 2006-2010. In addition to being a small business owner, Lucille is active in many organizations and boards representing the community interests of Anaheim.
“It’s critical that Council District 4 is represented by an experienced leader who fully understands the Anaheim Resort District’s nexus to Anaheim neighborhoods and city services. Lucille is that leader. She is a great champion of residents and businesses,” said Jill Kanzler.
