The cast of Mary Poppins Returns continues to grow as The Hollywood Reporter says that actor Ben Whishaw is currently in talks to join the project. Whishaw will be a familiar face to fans of the Daniel Craig-era Bond films having played Q.
According to THR the role that Whishaw is in contention for is that of a grown-up Michael Banks who will apparently play a large role in the new film. Mary Poppins Returns is slated to arrive in theatres December 25th, 2018.
