A spokesperson for Disney confirmed to The Orlando Sentinel that, as of October 2nd, Stitch’s Great Escape in Magic Kingdom will no longer operate on a daily basis. Instead it will open seasonally depending on attendance.
Despite its name, the Tomorrowland attraction has never had a ‘great’ reputation among Disney fans, partly because it replaced the controversial but beloved Alien Encounter. As a result, it’s hardly a surprise that Stitch would become a victim of Disney’s latest cost-cutting efforts.
