The saga surrounding Rivers of Light, which was originally supposed to debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom back in April, has been an interesting one to say the least. With a lack of updates from Disney and the temporary show that was staged in its absence already completing its run, some have wondered if the show would even debut this year (if at all).
As Blog Mickey picked up on, an Instagram post by the Manager for Technical Direction and Systems at Walt Disney World, David Miller, now gives fans hope that a 2016 debut is still in the cards. According to his post, Miller says the crew will be completing dress rehearsals for the show this week:

While this still doesn’t give us any solid dates as to when we can expect to see the show, it at least suggests that the problems plaguing the performance have been worked out and it’s nearing a debut.
