There are only a few more months until we’re treated to two tentpole films from the Disney family: Doctor Strange from Marvel and Rogue One from Lucasfilm. With the former opening this November and the latter in December, you might expect that a trailer for the Star Wars spinoff to appear in front of Marvel’s latest comic book adaptation — and it looks like you’d be right.
According to StarWarsNewsNet, Elena Brodskaya who does marketing for a Russian subset of Disney says that the final trailer final trailer for Rogue One will be “attached” to Doctor Strange (ever since the move to digital projection, trailers no longer come physically attached to films but on the hard drive with them). There is always the chance that plans could change or that the Russian release strategy differs from that of the U.S. but it seems like a pretty logical move.
As for when we’ll learn more about the Star Wars film in question, Brodskaya says it Lucasfilm will keep a pretty tight lid on the movie as they did with The Force Awakens.
Doctor Strange opens in theatres November 4th and Rogue One arrives December 16th.
