MLB Analyst John Kruk is departing ESPN as the lastest talent to leave the network.
ESPN released the following statement:
“ESPN and John Kruk have mutually agreed to end our relationship at this time. We’re thankful to John for his memorable contributions to our baseball coverage over the years – a run which included roles on our signature MLB franchises Sunday Night Baseball and Baseball Tonight. We wish John all the best.”

John Kruk is a three-time All-Star outfielder/first baseman who appeared this season on Baseball Tonight alongside host Karl Ravech. Previously he served as an analyst on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball through the 2015 season. He joined ESPN for the 2004 season, making his debut during a Spring Training telecast between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies from Tampa, Fla. In March 2006, Kruk also provided game analysis for several World Baseball Classic and Spring Training telecasts on ESPN.
