Conde Nast Readers Name Top Central Florida Resorts

Condé Nast Traveler today announced the results of its 29th annual Readers’ Choice Awards for Central Florida. Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World received the top honors. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge came in at second place. Other Disney operated locations in the top 20 were Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (#7), Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (#9), Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (#10), Disney’s Beach Club Resort (#14), Disney’s Boadwalk Inn (#15), Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (#16), and Disney’s Contemporary Resort (#18). Also making the list was the Swan and Dolphin Resort at (#5).

For what it is worth, three Universal hotels made the list with Hard Rock at number 13, Portofino Bay at number 17, and the Cabana Bay Beach Resort coming in at the 19th spot.

Over 300,000 dedicated readers – nearly twice as many as last year — cast votes for7,394 hotels, 606 cities, 500 cruise ships, and 236 islands, in an average survey time of 8.4 minutes. The result? The 1,402 best travel experiences in the world. The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.”   The Readers’ Choice Awards are announced in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler, on newsstands nationwide on October 25, 2016.
