The busts that make up the Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame will no longer reside in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as the Orlando Sentinel and Disney confirm. Instead, the area will become a food marketplace.
Statues of famed television actors and actresses have been a part of the park since 1993. The recent line-up included Mary Tyler Moore, Lucille Ball, Bea Arthur, Bob Newhart and more. Although it was mostly a sleeper attraction, it did get a fair bit of attention after allegations against Bill Cosby came forward, leading to the eventual removal of his bust.
Disney told the Sentinel that the area should be cleared by the end of next month.
