Today Oh My Disney confirmed which of the Big Hero 6 cast would make the jump from the big screen to the upcoming Disney XD show. Returning cast include Ryan Potter (Hiro),Scott Adsit (Baymax), Maya Rudolph (Aunt Cass), Jamie Chung (GoGo), Alan Tudyk (Alistair Krei), Genesis Rodriguez (Honey Lemon), David Shaughnessy (Heathcliff), and, lastly, Stan Lee will reprise his role as Fred’s dad. Sadly Damons Wayans Jr. who voiced Wasabi in the film and T.J. Miller who played Fred will not be returning. As a result, Khary Payton and Brooks Wheelan will step into their respective roles.
Of course there are also some new additions as well. Jennifer Lewis will voice Professor Granville, Andrew Scott will be the villain Obake, Andy Richter will play Globby, Sean Giambrone will be Richardson Mole, John Ross Bowie will voice Mei, Diedrich Bader will play Bluff Dunder, Susan Sullivan will take on the role of Fred’s mother, and Haley Tju will be Karmi.
Big Hero 6 is set to debut on Disney XD in 2017.
