According to WDWMagic, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved Disney’s request to utilize drones in their domestic theme parks. The current waiver issued to the company is effective this month and is good through 2020. Although Disney has not announced any specific plans for how they would utilize drone technology, a patent filing insinuates that they could be integrated into nighttime entertainment offering as seen below:
