In 2017 the Atlanta Braves will take the field at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Walt Disney World once again. As the Disney Parks Blog notes, this will mark the teams 20th straight spring training appearance at the resort.
Some of the highlights of this year’s spring training schedule include the Toronto Blue Jays (February 25th), the American League East champion Boston Red Sox (March 3rd), the Baltimore Orioles (March 28th) and the New York Mets (March 10th, 25th and 29th) – who each reached the post-season earlier this year.
On top of that, the New York Yankees (March 9th) are on the 18-game home schedule along with the Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals, Miami Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles.
The Braves players begin arriving at Walt Disney World in mid-February and then open up the spring season here against the Blue Jays on February 2th5.
