Porthole Cruise Magazine has chosen Disney Cruise Line fine dining restaurant Remy to receive their 2017 Editor-in-Chief Award for Best Specialty Restaurant. As the Disney Parks Blog reports, the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Bill Panoff said the French restaurant was his “favorite travel experiences” and left “amazing impressions in terms of service, quality, and memorable moments.”
Remy, which is named after the star of Pixar’s Ratatouille, has locations aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. As the Parks Blog notes, the gourmet selection was crafted by Chef Arnaud Lallement of l’Assiette Champenoise — a Michelin three-star restaurant just outside Reims, France — and Chef Scott Hunnel from award-winning Victoria & Albert’s. The menu features decadent offerings such as smoked bison with fennel and blood oranges from Chef Scott Hunnel and langoustines royale (Norway Lobster with Caesar sauce) from Chef Arnaud Lallement.
