In an ongoing lawsuit filed against Walt Disney World by a former employee, it was alleged that the resort keeps a document of “toxic employees” as a director for the company claimed she had seen it. Now the lawyer for the ex-employee has filed a motion to force Disney to produce that document. All of this has been reported by The Orlando Sentinel who has been following Xonia Book’s discrimination suit against Disney.
Book original took Disney to court in 2011, claiming the company discriminated against her for being Colombian. After losing that case, Book apparently applied for a promotion at work, which she was was unable to get an interview for despite her claim that she was well qualified. That led to the current case, and Book’s lawyer, Jerry Girley, says this “toxic document” could prove that Disney retaliated against Book for her prior suit by putting her on the list.
Disney had no comment on the alleged document and has previously said the Book’s case has no merit.
