At Star Wars Celebration Orlando, Dave Feloni announced that the animated series Star Wars Rebels will end with Season 4. Feloni said he knows what it feels like to have a show end when it wasn’t his choice, and that he felt now would be the right time to end the journey of the family that we have come to know over the past several years.
Feloni did stress that this doesn’t mean that we wont see more from Lucasfilm Animation which will continue. Of course, it was previously announced that they will be debuting a short-form series focused on the heroines called Forces of Destiny.
They also released a trailer for the upcoming season which will debut this Fall.
In Season 4 Star Wars Rebels will continue to drive the Star Wars saga into new, unexplored realms of the galaxy and promises new surprises and action-packed adventures. It was announced that Warwick Davis will voice Rukh, Thrawn’s assassin bodyguard in the upcoming season and we will also see the return of Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera as voiced by Forest Whitaker.
Season 4 will debut this fall on Disney XD.
