Due to a power outage in San Francisco, the Walt Disney Family Museum is closed today, April 21, 2017. Those holding tickets for today will be eligible for a refund or may use the tickets on another day of their choosing.
The museum was one of the 95,000 electric customers that lost power. “As of about 10 a.m. about 95,000 customers are without power. We have crews responding to the situation to restore power safely and as quickly as possible. We had an incident occur at our Larkin substation, and the San Francisco Fire Department responded, and is working to extinguish a fire,” PG&E Spokesperson Paul Doherty said.
As of 1pm, 15,000 customers had their power restored and the utility is continuing trying to restore power to all those affected.
