After Girl Meets World was canceled by Disney Channel earlier this year, creator Michael Jacobs said he planned on shopping the hit show to other networks and platforms. Unfortunately, it seems that process has ended without the show finding any takers. As TV Line reports, the Twitter account used by the program’s writers broke the bad news:
Girl Meets World aired its finale this January after three years on the air. The series — a sequel to the ABC cult favorite Boy Meets World — signed off by bringing back a number of familiar faces from both programs. It also aired a special behind-the-scenes episode dedicated to the show’s numerous young fans.
