A housekeeper at Walt Disney World’s Old Key West Resort was arrested on Tuesday on charges of theft. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Disney arranged a “covert corporate investigation” after a number of guests staying in rooms serviced by 35-year-old Mayra Alejandra Burgos reported thefts. This sting operation saw Disney security investigators leave $200 in $20 bills in a nightstand in one of the rooms. Investigators then watched as Burgos went into the drawer and took $20. Afterward, Orange County deputies were called and Burgos was arrested. She later posted $1,500 bail and was released.
