The Star Wars-themed land, which up until now was being called simply Star Wars Land, has an official name. At today’s Parks and Resorts panel at the 2017 D23 Expo, it was announced that the new lands in Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be known as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. As previously announced, both additions are slated to open in 2019.
